Wallyball on Friday!

Hey! Sorry for the late notice on this, but we will be going to the Gettysburg Y this Friday to play Wallyball with the youth group from Lower Marsh Creek. Be at the church by 4:30 and we'll all go together. Make sure you dress appropriately for this event (think gym class). The best part: its FREE. Hope to see you on Friday!

Exodus CD

I am pleased to announce that the new Exodus CD, Give Love Away, is now part of the MBC Youth CD Library! It will be "officially" featured in February, but it is part of the library now, so make sure to check it out! They did an awesome job at the winter retreat, and this album highlights just some of the many songs that they play.

Winter Retreat 2009

Well..what can I say? The Winter Retreat was AMAZING! The Retreat is an Association-wide youth event, held at Doubling Gap Center. The theme was "A Student God Can Use," and our speaker for the weekend was John Richardson, who did an awesome job. The worship band was Exodus, a ministry team from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. They were amazing as well, not only as a band, but in leading us in true worship.
There was also time for some fun, as we competed in a team competition all weekend. It also snowed while we were there, so many of the students took advantage of the sledding hill out back.
The food was awesome too...thanks so much to Mrs. Sensenig and Mrs. Hockenberry for going along to cook for us!
All in all, it was an awesome weekend of fellowship, worship and fun!

Please click here and here to see more photos from the retreat!
