I know I haven't posted a "Verse of the Day" for awhile, but this passage really spoke to me this morning:

COLOSSIANS 3
¹Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. ²Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. ³For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. ⁴When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Mission Project Reminders...

Hey Everyone!

We are coming "down-to-the-wire" for our Home Mission Project! Here are a couple of quick, but very important reminders...

*Our car wash fundraiser is THIS Saturday, May 30th. Please arrive by 9:30 AM and be prepared to stay until 2:30 PM. Also, each of you need to bring a parent, guardian or other responsible adult with you that is willing and able to help wash cars!

*On Wednesday, June 3rd, please remember to arrive at 5:30 PM for training, instead of 6:45. We will be working all the way through the normal time of 8:00 PM.

*Your sports bottles, hopefully full of change, ;-) are due on Wednesday, June 3rd!

*Only a few of you came to puppet practice on Wednesday...that's not good! I understand that stuff comes up, but less than half of you were there. Puppets play a big part in our ministry this summer. Please make sure that you are here for practice this Sunday night at 5:00.

*If you have not turned in the payment that was due a few weeks ago, I need it ASAP.

*Don’t forget to go over the VBS songs and
witnessing techniques!

*Continue to pray for an amazing week of ministry!
